New Moon Musing in the Red Tent

All women are welcome! New Moon Musing is a monthly “time out” from the bizziness of our lives… a sacred space for regeneration where all women are invited to gather to give back to ourselves. It is a place of your very own making – a place to rest, meditate, relax, enjoy homemade soup and herbal tea, read a book, journal, sing, laugh, cry, draw, knit, give and receive nurturing touch, and to network with like-minded interesting and empowered women. An organic space for YOU to be YOU, with no agenda, expectations or obligations. Come as you are, or come as you wish to be – and wear red if you like! You deserve this.

The June New Moon is an intimate, multi-generational women’s gathering with Elders Circle, community art space, ritual, and Wisdom Council. We will come together this year on Saturday, June 23rd & Sunday, June 24th. I hope you’ll be able to join us for this very special gathering!

This year’s event will be non-residential at The Haven in Bethesda, MD. We will gather on Saturday from 9:30am – 5:30pm and on Sunday from 9:30am – 1:00pm.

Imagine a weekend of Red Tent/Pink Tent yumminess…. mmmmmmmm….

I mean sssssssssssssssssssss….. Because Serpentessa is coming this year! At the invitation of my daughters (who savor her gentle Crone teachers given while brushing her amazingly long goldilocks at Daughters of the Earth gathering), she has agreed to come and bring her wise snake teachers. We are so honored and thrilled as Serpentessa is a beautiful teacher and being with her snakes is a precious gift.

As many of you know, I left my national advocacy position in October to reengage my consulting practice, dive deeper into life and leadership coaching, and have more flexibility with my daughters. Matriz Coaching & Consulting was born, and I’m happy to report is growing beautifully! I’m loving life outside the box while supporting progressive leaders and organizations grow and effect positive change at the same time. Life is good.

All women welcome! Inspired by the Spring breeze, we’re breathing the Red Tent open again… Join us on Monday, April 4th between 10am and 3pm.

New Moon Musing (Red Tent Bethesda/Kensington) is a monthly “time out” from the bizziness of our lives… a sacred space for regeneration where all women are invited to gather to give back to ourselves. Resurfacing…

Wow… One month since our amazing June New Moon gathering! Just resurfacing after a deep dive into work and then a blessed vacation last week with my family. Feeling deep gratitude for this wonderful life we are living…

Pictures from the June New Moon coming soon… Hopefully, including one of the beautiful Gaia-momma community art painting created by Lucy Dirksen and the women and girls at the gathering. A breath-taking green momma with the moon to her ear and the sun to her third eye… She is still with me.

And next steps… I will post a schedule for Fall Red Tents soon! And in October/November, Isadora Leidenfrost will be here to film for her Red Tent documentary movie, Things We Don’t Talk About: Healing Narratives from the Red Tent.
